Students may attend class once or twice per week. Students must arrive no later than ½ hours prior to closing to complete class assignments. If you arrive after this point, homework will be collected and new assignments will be given. No assignments will be competed at the center that day.

Homework
It is important for students to establish a daily routine of Kumon study to reinforce the mastery concept of learning. Please help your child to schedule Kumon into their day. All homework assignments must per graded at home by a parent, caregiver or older sibling, answer books will be provided. Students must correct any mistakes. Upon first attempt at correction students should try to correct independently, if unsuccessful and having difficulty parents may assist if comfortable doing so. If still having difficulty please try to get to the center on the next open day for assistance. This will help prevent further mistakes on future assignments as well as allow the student to get immediate feedback on their daily work and greatly increase the effectiveness of your child’s Kumon studies.
Questions or Comments and Concerns Regarding Your Child
If you have any questions or need to communicate any problems or issues to the Instructor, please call prior to arrival on your scheduled center day to discuss. You can call the center at 419.874.8029 or if unable to reach anyone at that number, please feel free to call Christine on her cell phone: 419.356.7235. If we know the problems ahead of time (trouble w/homework, skipped assignments, upcoming absence or vacation etc) we can prepare to handle the issues prior to or as soon as your child arrives thus making the most of their time at the center. You can also send in a note if you are unable to call. This will help to cut down on distractions in the center thus maximizing each child’s time at the center.
